At CorroZone, we provide on-demand education and training in the field of corrosion science and engineering

From experience, we have learned that corrosion is often perceived as a challenging subject because it requires mastering and connecting concepts from many disciplines, such as chemistry, metallurgy, electrical engineering, materials science, and more.

This can demand a significant time investment, and in today’s fast-paced industrial and research environment, it might constitute a considerable entry barrier.

We aim to break this barrier.

We believe that with focused, self-contained, and well-organized online courses, anyone with an interest and a willingness to learn can master any aspect of corrosion science and engineering, gaining the confidence to independently address corrosion-related challenges.

New Courses

Hi,

I am Dr Michele Curioni, founder of CorroZone.

I have worked in corrosion teaching, research and industrial consultancy for over 15 years.

In my experience I have learned that corrosion is often considered a challenging subject due to the multidisciplinary aspects involved. At the same time, there is a clear need for corrosion experts to address the challenges associated to manufacturing and maintaining assets. I think that anyone can learn to address corrosion issues, and that modern teaching and learning technologies can be exploited for this purpose.

In 2023 I founded CorroZone, with the purpose of making corrosion education accessible all over the word.

I hope you find our courses valuable.
